Blaine Ohigashi

My name is Blaine Ohigashi.  I love taking photos and being active.  I graduated with a B.A. in World Arts and Cultures with a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media Studies at the University of California Los Angeles.

I am a Los Angeles-based photojournalist, field photo editor at Getty Images, and photo assistant at Sports Illustrated.  I was previously a photojournalism apprentice at the Orange County Register, and the head photo editor and a senior staff photographer at UCLA’s Daily Bruin newspaper.  I enjoy shooting everything from sports to breaking news to portraits.
